Anyone who invests in a solar system usually wants to have an all-round carefree package. Thanks to a cooperation with Ergo Versicherung AG, customers of Sonnenstromfabrik have the opportunity to conclude an insurance for their entire solar systems, even including the battery system.

Ergo issues the insurance policy directly in favor to the customer. 

Damage caused by storms, hail, snow pressure, vandalism, theft and the resulting loss of yield are covered. At the same time, the power loss of the system is covered if it is caused by technical defects of the modules or by low sunlight. The insurance already steps in if there is a power loss of ten percent. In general, the offer is directed to operators of rooftop systems up to ten kilowatts, but larger systems can also be insured after consultation with Ergo.

The Total Care Insurance is signed for five years. After that the customer can extend the insurance annually.
