Solar energy systems have become more and more affordable over the past few years. Increases in efficiency mean that products from premium manufacturers in Germany do not require state subsidies to be cost effective. Thanks to a high level of automation, logistical advantages and zero-defect production. It’s important to know that, even though the price gap between our products and those from Chinese manufacturers has reduced significantly, opting for a cheaper Asian provider comes at the cost of sustainability.
An average 5 kWp system produces around 5,000 kWh of electricity per year. This corresponds to annual savings of 1.5 tonnes of CO2, based on a hypothetical energy mix similar to that of Germany and France. If we assume that the system can cover around 50% of a family’s energy needs, this accounts for an annual saving of 750 kg CO2.

To save costs, solar modules are mostly manufactured in count- ries where environmental protection plays a less important role and little consideration is given to carbon emissions during production. our machines predominantly with solar power produced from our own solar modules, and employ state-of-the-art lter technology. Our plant emits 40% less CO2 than the average German solar com- pany — and over 70% less than international competitors. What’s more, we exclusively use primary materials from CO2-audited manufacturers for our Low Carbon product range.
